Hi Karen,

Compare this shot to your Photographer’s Light&Time AM shot: You make it easy for us to see the differences between the two kinds of light since they were both taken about the same time, with the same guy wearing the same Tshirt and jacket.

Colors are richer in the warm morning light from last week, and because of the side light we can clearly see the texture in his pink jacket, Tshirt, skin, and cleft chin. The shadows on the right side give the photo a strong sense of drama.

But all-over shade as you have in this week’s shot is also nice in its own way. It has a soft mood which brings out flowers and soft skin.

The one white morning glory is stealing the show, unfortunately. Cover it up with your thumb and see the difference. If you had noticed it before you took the shot you could have moved it out of view. #733090
