The Mask

Uploaded: August 03, 2007

Description

I was working with long exposures and would sit in from of the camera and swing my eyes continuously for 8 seconds so that I would get a blur in the eye. Started playing with the resulting image and ended up with this. I called it mask because 1- it looked like a mask, 2- it made a point for me towards the duality of man's face. I mean, I looked scary like this in the original shot (non DA version) and I don't think I really am as scary. I don't know if this makes any sense or if this only comes across as a rant. But those are the reasons why I called this shot The Mask. Hope you guys enjoy it.
