Description

I took this favorite photo of my husband, Steve, and youngest son on a camping trip back in 1987, as they sat mesmerized in front of the campfire. I am posting this today in honor of our son's birthday. Happy 19th Birthday, Greg! You've grown up way too fast!

It's especially heartwarming to me because it was a spontaneous portrait, and looking at it always awakens in me the same feelings of warmth and closeness that were present when I originally shot this image.
