Bliss

Description

My sister-in-law and three-week-old baby.

Shot with my point and shoot, so depth of field was pretty deep. Natural light under an overhang - the wall behind is my brother's and her apartment.

We were visiting, and I just had her hold the baby in various ways while holding down the shutter in burst mode. This was the best shot of the bunch.

Editing involved a little blur and some saturation enhancement, plus some targeted sharpening.

I named it "Bliss" when I first shot it. Then it turned out the July contest theme was also bliss.

How sweet! I love the obvious connection between the mother and baby. Great job! #702362
