Beautiful place Mark! You have really captured the beauty of the falls! #603387

Thanks Cathy and Janet. I almost did not photograph this because of sunny skies. But the sun was just behind the cliff to which this falls was clinging, and the cover of leaves seemed to even out the bright light in front of the falls. Under this canopy I did not need a polarizer because of the greenish hue cast by the many trees around me. The exposure would have been too long with a polarizer. Mark #603763

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm stunned! I have not looked at photos of late, or entered my own for that matter.

Before I forget, Cathy, this waterfall is called Fairy Falls; about an hour hike into the Coumbia Gorge near Portland, Oregon. If further details, please feel free to ask later. #655235
