Phil, Congratulations on finalist. Is the moon a layer added in photoshop, or is the image a DX? A :30 second exposure would certainly overexpose the Moon for whitch the correct exposure would follow the sunny 16 rule, since the Moon is illuminated by the Sun and is exposed for daylight. Great Shot. #4738543

You're right, Mark, that exposure would have completely blown out a normal moon shot. I exposed the scene and the moon separately and combined them later in Photoshop. #4738556
