Break for Reflection

Description

Reason number one: The National Mall
If DC were a state, it would rank smallest in area after Rhode Island. That makes it a very compact and convenient city for bicycling. Add to that, the National Mall, a few miles in area (from the Capitol to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial is 1.9 miles), where visitors can find seven monuments and memorials, twelve museums, the Capitol, and the Botanic Gardens. Many attempt to navigate this area by foot, and end the day with sore legs and feet. By bike, one can zip from one end to the other in under an hour, making it possible to see and enjoy much more, and in a much more comfortable manner.
