Description

After spending the day at a nearby ranch and seeing some outstanding photos of ranch life from the early part of the last century.... I've been inspired to try and emulate that look and have been trying some new techniques in PS

I think you achieved your goal, but I'm not a professional...just an amateur who tries really hard. Very stiking and, of course, great detail! Cheers! #8563

Hi Damian. I too think you've achieved your goal. Very nice work. But, hey, is that electrical lines I see cutting through the background? LOL! #13212

Thank you Christina, Carolyn & Patricia...

Patricia, you're right about the electrical lines... I didn't notice those until this afternoon, and the funny thing is, you really have to look for them in the colour version....

My thought now is, well there is a truck, so why not a powerline...

The other shots I took are sans powerline....

Thank again all.... I really appreciate the feedback!!! #13235

Patrica.... Thanks for noticing the powerlines, I've decided to take them out and lighten up the shadows on the truck just a tad... I think it's an improvement...
