Ummm, after I catch my breath and my unbuckle my kness....(major fear of heights) Steve, this is an amazing image! The lighting and reflections from the windows is totally awesome; from a distance it is as if someone took a paint brush and in a curved downward sweeping strokes, added a touch of 'glow'! The great 'lines' and perspective of the 'skywalkers' prove this to be an amazingly huge but beautiful building! So...where and what is this?? #676571

Dianna Hauf June 19, 2007

That would be knees, and I might add the coloring of this image is beautiful as well! ;) #4413374

Steve M. Harrington June 19, 2007

Thank you so much, Dianna. I too have a fear of heights, but have been enticed to overcome it when confronted by great beauty like the Rockies. I think I will leave this building to the pair on the scaffolding. It is either in Hong Kong or Boston, to narrow it down for you. :) I am so disorganized!!

You know what the scaffolding looked like at first to me? The wings of a biplane--especially because of the reflections of the sky. But then, of course, one would have to figure out why there were all those lines in the sky. This sort of delayed reaction is, I think, what makes the image so fascinating. #4414197

Shannon O. June 19, 2007

This shot makes you looks twice and figure it out; it looks like so many things, and that's what makes a remarkable photograph. As Dianna said, it reminds me of the strokes of a paintbrush... some heavenly colored paint, too. Those colors and the abstract but simple pattern, its all just incredible. Amazing work, Steve. #4414332
