Kasia, Kathleen, Claudia, Casey, Donna and Leanne, thank you so much ladies! I wanted someting very simple, blue on white, so took a glass and white board and placed it on the cement floor in the carport. Had to wait a number of times until the clouds moved and when the sun gave me the shadow I wanted, voila! I tried it with combinations of glasses, but that got cluttered.

Jan, I shot this again, this time with water in the glass and you can see the changes. The inside of the glass is very dark, there is a color band on the stem and most of the color bands on the glass' shadow is diminished.

Have been working with glass and shadows for a while to try something different, and this is not the first time I have tried this particular layout and lighting, though it is the first time I took the sun to be my lighting assistant :-)! Then I wanted kept simple; used a blue wine glass, placed it on a white board, readjusted the tripod so the center leg was horizontal and started shooting. This is the result! Thank you, as always, as I value your feedback.
