My first thought was WOW! I am so new at all this. I was wondering if you fixed it up in photoshop, etc. to make the white water look that way. I thought...okay, I'll take my first step and comment on your picture. I read what the others said, and I ditto all of the comments. Then I saw your camera, and then your comment about having a good camera. Then I got the picture...not to give you full credit for your eye and knowledge and probably a lot of determination. Thanks for that shot!

A wonderful image Mike. I think everyone has already touched on all the elements that make it come together. A job well done. I’ve only had the chance to photograph surfing once, and that was during the late winter in FL. No clear water or big waves for me  I’m trying to set up a trip to HI through work and will have to give it another shot if I do! #4603053
