Description

Although the red fox is centered in the frame (breaking the rule of thirds), I think that the pattern of the wood, the fact that she is looking directly into the frame and the square crop make this shot work.

Exif: F Number: 4.8, Exposure Bias Value: -2/6, Exposure Time: 1/125, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 100, White Balance: auto white balance, Focal Length: 340mm, Camera Model: NIKON D200

Wonderful shot. I have no problem with the composition. Sometimes rules are made to be broken. But you could crop a little on either side and it would be a great shot. The ear pointing to the upper corner helps a lot with the compositon. #4352941
