Aim for Gold

Uploaded: May 25, 2007 00:43:02

Description

This statue was taken while touring an estate garden. I knelt down and used a low angle low to cut out all extraneous items which would have spoilt the shot. Lens used was my 12-24 wide angle up close. The background sky was very dull and overcast so I used a tint in P.S. to give the shot some punch.

Hi there Dominick,
Thanks very much for your kind words. They are appreciated. As it happens I had this shot up earlier in another category when someone kindly pointed out it`s possible suitability for the `monthly theme` which quite frankly I had not even seen nor looked at. I will have to pay more attention in future to what is going on.
