Second Beach Is Open Again

Uploaded: May 17, 2007 13:14:17

Description

This is a beach along the Olympic Coast in Washington that closed down for over a year due to disagreements over land. So when it reopened I raced down to shoot it before it closed again. The shot has been taken a lot from the perspective of just the haystacks and no foreground. So I found the only foreground object and tried by best to do something with it so I waited for the sun rays to hit it through the hole and the tidepool at the same time. Not what I was hoping for but I guess this is more to do with my attachment to this and my emotions involved then shooting this correctly. I promise to go back and find a way to make it work, it always takes me a couple of times for me.

Thank you for any comments in advance.
