Description

Another image from the Track Series. I particularly like all of the expressions in this image. The only things I did to this were to fade out the name of the schools on the track suits and to crop a little bit on the bottom and top. Everything pretty much is what it is! Great capture of the expressions, Autum! As far as suggestions, it depends whether you were trying to capture a team or an individual. With the 300mm lens, I would have tried for a close up of an individual (maybe chest up) and tried to catch a competitor in a nearby lane out of focus. But then I haven't shot that much track! I am not too crazy about this shot but attach it to illustrate the type of POV that I would shoot to capture the expressions. #4261136

Trula, thanks so much for your wonderful compliment! It was an overcast day - I had the camera slightly exposed. WB was on auto. ISO was on auto. I set it to continuous shooting. Basically, I took a slew of pictures really quickly. :-) I have some othe really great pictures from the event, but I didn't post them. :-) #4461461
