I lived in this area for 2 years in the 80's and really loved going out to White Sands. You've done a wonderful job capturing the essence of the beautiful gypsum sand dunes, Ron. #4251405

This is beautiful, Ron. Love the lines, light and shadows that you've captured. I am from New Mexico originally, but I don't think anyone can fail to respond to the beauty of the sands as you have captured them here. Great POV. #4252877

Oops. Meant to tell you I spotted this in Editors First Picks. #4252879

I thank all for your kind comments. White Sands is a difficult area for me to photograph. I do see a great deal to work with, but have difficulty isolating images which actually capture what I see. This particular week, we were fighting fairly high winds and rain. Overall is was a great experience.
