Description

Taken in the VA state arboretum. This was actually a shot I was trying to take for landscapes last week, however in the 40 mile an hour gusts of wind even the tripod and timer did not help. The light was low, over cast and late in the day so the shutter speed was set at 1/2 second. The wind whipping through the flowers and trees (and tripod) gave me this impressionistic effect. I boosted the saturation a little.
