Hi Brinn. It's good to hear from you again. I've been doing a little experimenting with a Sony H2 that my wife gave me for my birthday. This image I made of the flowers our son gave us for Easter.

Have been enjoying your gallery again and was very interested in "Harbor and Fog" I often go to Newport Harbor and Morro bay and havn't had too much success with shots of the boats composition wise. I believe mainly because of an apparent lack of a focal view point. You've solved that problem with the fog. Is that PS generated?

I don't do much PP but may now because I just ordered PSE 5.0 and will be attempting to learn new techiques.

Thanks again for your kind comment.

Hi Dale
Thanks for taking a look at my gallery. I did use some effects on that shot. I added the fog in paint shop pro 9. A poor man's version of adobe. I like it much better, and I added that effect in a plug-in from Medhi.

Nice capture Dale. Beautiful flower. How do you like the H2. I'm thinking about getting the H9 when it comes out. #4182300

Thank you Kay. I'm really having fun with this camera. My wife bought it for me (after lot of hinting) to supliment my Sony R1. I really love that camera but it lacks a strong telephoto which the H2 fills nicely.

What really surprised me was how easy it is to use for macro shots. The R1 has a much better bokeh but the DOF field is so tight that I need a lot more practice to get meaninful shots.

For me the R1 is THE camera and this is like getting a new lens only cheaper.

Just noticed a error in my image and I must appologize. The pix was not done with my R1, but with the Sony H2. I had the R1 set as default and failed to change it. #4182503
