King Penguin with Egg

One of the tens of thousands of king penguins at a very large colony at Salisbury Plain on South Georgia Island. Unlike their emperor cousins both parents share hatching duties. This bird had just taken over fron it's mate and is adjusting the egg on it's feet before tucking it into it's feathered pouch
