Thanks, Sharon and Colette!
This was taken from the tram ride around the "free roaming" area of the park. The tram doesn't stop...it goes quite slow, tho. And the windows aren't the largest...so it's kinda fun twisting and turning trying to get a decently composed shot when you're on the move.

Perfect shot Bob. Who cares about the tag in the ear...they tag wild animals all the time. (Catch and release) #4137603

Terrific shot of this ram with great details and composition. You did a great job shooting from the moving tram, Bob!! #4143074

Wally Orlowsky April 08, 2007

Awesome capture, Bob. Amazingly sharp, especially with a 2X teleconverter. I assume that you had to focus manually with that. #4143179

Bob Cournoyer level-classic April 08, 2007

Thanks, Melissa and Wally!
No, with the 70-200, the 2x works perfectly w/auto focus... :-)

And back to Wally, the Canon extender works for autofocus with any Canon lens that is f2.8 or wider, if I read the site right.
