Thanks Diane for your nice comments.Just wish we still had those delightful autumn sunrises, but with winter upon us Downunder they are few and far between. #604919

Joe, I can easily see why this one put you in the winner's circle, great image! These shots only come along once in a while and you need to be on the spot at the right moment to capture them. I live on the opposite coast to you and it's interesting seeing the sunrise with our vast land behind it instead of the way we see it here in the east. Congratulations, I will look forward to more great images out of the west. #812156

Thanks Phillip for your nice comments.Yes our sunsets are over the ocean, but of course sunrises are looking your way over the landmass.I try and get to the river for the sunrises but have been a bit lazy over winter(well with very overcast or raining mornings its not worth it anyhow...thats my excuse!).I am back on the river early mornings now with spring here, but you still need those few great mornings of the year with the right clouds for the more exciting shots and I am looking forward to seeing more great shots from the East coast. Thanks again Phillip. #815356

The best thing about your not posting anything for a few days is that I have gone right to your last page and seen this wonderful winner! Fantastic shot Joe and belated congratulations! #2298608

Kate, over the last three years, this sunrise sticks out as a real beauty to me.I reckon the best early morning I have seen over that time.(But I do admit I miss many sunrises, due to being lazy(and tired too!)That morning will always live with me,regardless of my photo anyhow,as it sticks in my mind.I remember very well that morning, but have forgotten most others. Thanks Kate. #2305886
