Before the Crowds Arrive

Uploaded: February 19, 2007

Description

To get tickets to tour the Capitol building in Washington, DC, one has to arrive early in the morning. I took this shot from the Capitol's landing, standing directly in front of its wonderful dome, on my way to the ticket line. I had never known this landmark location to have topiaries and a fountain. With few people (visibly) around, the experience was somewhat surreal. Handheld, wide angle adapter. Sky colors added in PS.
