While out on a sunny January afternoon with my camera, I spotted these clear, fine icicles beneath the handrail of a bridge. f19. 1/125th sec. -1EV. Tamron 28-80 @ 70mm.

G'day Lisa,

I thoroughly agree with all the superatives mentioned above and relish in the photograph's panoramic presentation of an unusual subject that is a repetition while not being a repetition. (If ya know what I mean!)

HOWEVER!

I do find the fairly large, round spectral highlights very distracting indeed and if 'twere mine I would do as much very careful Clone Stamp work in Photshop or the like as necessary to eliminate them so the whole scene is one of uninterrupted serenity.

Lovely work showing your good eye and camera skills. I can almost hear the occasional drip as it falls.
