Thanks..yes this is a composite.
The background is a sunset over the Senengetti. I removed a couple of tress that were just black outlines because they were a dead give away for Africa. I did a color adjustment of the horse in photoshop. I would of prefered to actually pushed the intensity a little more but I knew the owner would want me to try and stay as true to the horses real color as possible. I also left more space on both sides for add use so text could be inserted. It is also sized so it can be put on a 5x7 card or on business size cards without any image loss.
Even thought the rule is to shoot your subject tight, for add use some space is usful and it can alway be cropped tighter as well.
