Description

This one doesn't do it any justice as a thumbnail. I submitted this the first round with only a very few comments. Then submitted to one of my BP classes where Kerry praised it. This was taken at Chicago Botanical Gardens of a fountain overflowing a brick wall, f11, 1/125, iso 100, Canon 100mm macro lens, tripod mounted, taken mid-morning. NO Photoshope enhancements done on this to create this effect, just tweaked it with unsharp mask.

Very cool shot, Barbara! At first I thought it was an effect that you used but now I see that is is actually water running over the bricks. Great job.

I'm glad you provided an explanation with this image, Barbara, once I realized what it was I was very impressed with how you captured the patterns and textures so clearly here, and the distortion from the water really makes for a most intriguing abstract! #442930
