Hi Janel,
I used my Nikon CoolPIx 995, I set it to manual, varied between 2 & 4 secs. for the various pictures and used f10.5. This was my very first time with fireworks and it was a practice run for tonight. I am going to the St. Louis Arch to get the fireworks there. I have my fingers crossed that I will get some good ones:-)

Okay,,, I thought those fireworks looked familiar,,, did you take those in St. Charles ? I took mine at St. Charles... It sure is a small world !

It sure is a small world! We always go to St. Charles to the Bass Pro Shop!
No, these were taken in Columbia, IL. I live just across the water on the Illinois side. We will have to meet up sometime at the zoo or someplace.
I will let you know how tonight turns out:-)

That would be great! I was thinking of going to the zoo today, but I figured it was too hot and the animals would not be doing much. Please let me know how they turn out ! I would love to see them ! I am just learning about photography so I love to look at learn !
