Description

This is not an assignment picture, but one of my favorites taken with my main camera. Taken near the Yahoo! headquarters, 06-06.

You might not guess it by looking at this picture, but this was taken in the spring on a landfill hill. Just to the right of the picture were portable johns and further right the buildings of the Yahoo! headquarters. The Yahoo! campus is not only next to protected wetlands, but a salt marsh and a waste processing plant. These hills become covered in lush, green grasses during the spring and practically come alive in the breeze.

My favorite aspect of this image is about what's just out of frame, demonstrating that the image you portray can be dramatically altered with just a small shift in perspective.
