De-Tail

Description

The richly colored tail of a One-Horned Asian Rhinoceros lies across his armored skin. I was able to capture this image while walking on a bridge and shooting straight down. This Asian Rhino can grow to a length of over 6 feet and can weigh nearly 7,000 pounds. (Fort Worth Zoo)

Canon 100 - 400L IS at 200mm. Late morning, ISO 400, 1/200th @ f8.0, EC -1.0. (D&M)

G'day *JEFF*!

What an extremely clear and concise animal abstract this is.
The slate grey and randomly patterened skin acts as a great background for the wonderfully contrasting hair and colours of the tail.
In this case it is good to see you are a bit 'behind' in your photography. 8-)
