This is a photo I took of an image hanging in my kitchen. I have added a crackle effect in PS.

I like this. However I think the effect takes away, rather than adds. Personally I think the canned art department of image manipulation programs should be used as a last ditch effort to salvage an image. I have a fine example of just that in my gallery.
You have a good eye, and a good image here.
Less is more.

Thanks you Anthony, Colleen, Susana and Alisha for taking the time to comment. Im happy to hear everyone's opinion. Thank you for your honesty Anthony, everyone has their own opinions. I appreciate you sharing yours. I personally like the effect. Im not into manipulating photo's to a large degree but I do think it's fun to see how creative we can be in PS from time to time.
