Hi, John:

This is truly a lovely photo.

I have always encouraged people to shoot flora using backlighting. This is an excellent example of what can be achieved.

Out of curiousity, I am interested in knowing the settings that you used.

Perfect exposure, the sunlight really brings out the colour and detail. Great shot.

Thanks guys for taking the time to comment. If I can recall correctly the shutter was 1/125th and the aperture f11. I took a light reading off of the leaf then held the vine at arms length with the sun behind it. #696
