The day after

Uploaded: December 25, 2006

Description

Here is CT, worn out the day after Xmas, with only the wrappings to contend with. He seems to be having pain from all his scars, I think they are pulling tight as he is growing. I have been rubbing his burn cream on him but he can only take a bit at a time. The insert shows him looking sad. Picture taken this morning on my bed.

Thanks Sam & Susie, CT seems a bit better after his visit to the vet today. The injection didn't worry him, he seemed to know he was getting help. The heat seems to be giving him trouble around all his scars. He is tough, he'll come through with flying colors. #3743304

What a great shot! I just love this, Chris! So happy you took him in. Be careful though -- I now have 11!!! Oh oh. Well, I never turn away a stray. And I confess, we weren't quite in time to fix a couple of the ladies! But it all works out, we have a giant yard and a little forest in the back. The only time you know we have this zoo is when it's REALLY cold outside, and then they like to lounge around the sun room in a kitty pile-up. CT is a gorgeous cat and I hope he's feeling up to par very soon! By the way, some years back we took my mother's cat to Mexico where we were living at the time. She lived to 24! Not only did she make the trip with flying colors, she soon ran the house - including all the dogs! #3746239

Thanks for your comments, CT is a little better today after his injection & tablets. I don't think I could handle 11, mine don't all get on!!! You were very lucky with your Mother's cat, 24 sure is old, maybe she liked the warmer weather.3195579 #3746328

How did CT get burned? I hope he got better and is having a good cat life! Great Shot! #5749575

CT was caught in a grass fire & was rescued with his brother (who didn't make it) & his 2 sisters by the fire fighters. I asked not to be told how he came to be there, seeing him at first was bad enough. He's doing well now, is bigger than all our other cats, he'll be 3 at the end of the year. #5749615

Ohhh - That's a horrible start - but it sounds like he's a had a great life since. So Sorry to hear about his brother. I've fostered some kittens who didn't make it and it was so heartbreaking. I have 3 indoor cats who have all been fostered/adopted from shelters. Congrats on all your wonderful work - all your cats look beautiful!!! #5749712

Thanks so much Sarah. I think he is happy now but he has been through a lot. #5902242
