Dear Richard,

Nice composition of color. The colors are intense, bright, w/ also variations of same color – it makes me feel warm and sunshiny. A bold diagonal branch line directs the eyes to the leaves as does the diagonal limb coming from lower right inclining towards the upper left to the leaves (the limb with the red leaves have no visual impact, monotonous color). Subtle blurred background enhances subject.

Leaves lack texture subject appears flat. There is a distracting branch running across the top section of photo.
It appears photo was taken mid-day and bright sun washed out texture and depth.

Better lighting and moving in closer would provide more texture and depth. Move around the subject to incorporate more background sky as shown in the full picture and remove distractions.
