All right Carolyn, great photo. You are very good with these underwater subjects. Is it really hard to breathe down there? The composition, colors, and DOF are all equisite. Very well done, Carolyn - Allan #402326

Very beautiful image... #402467

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 01, 2004

Thanks Jeff, Claudia, Stephen, Donna and Sharon. No flash. I didn't need one. But occasionally there would be a reflection from another nearby tank, so I got some anyway. Most were easy to clone out. #402518

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 01, 2004

Thanks Kathleen, Susan, Leann, Darren and Robin.
The lighting was really well done by the aquarium lighting people with only one exception...the shark tank. I'll have to figure out how to get more light for that..I only got one shark shot that worked. It's a big tunnel with sharks all around and over you. It's lit from the top and very dark most everywhere. If you try to shoot up into the light, you can't see what's coming at you well enough to shoot in time to catch it with my digital...or at least I couldn't. I'm going back sometime and try to figure it out. #403183

Murry Grigsby March 01, 2004

What a pretty water painting Carolyn :0) This is terrific work! Lovely design, light and colors!! #403361

Mary K. Robison March 01, 2004

This is beautiful, Carolyn! Where can I see the rest of the "series" of these? Your gallery doesn't have them...? #403431

Allan L. Whitehead March 01, 2004

Carolyn, regarding the "lighting" problems with the sharks using your digital, maybe try pushing it to 400 ISO. I ofetn use that later in the evenings and have had some luck. I'm attaching a photo I took in August at 9:15 PM with no flash, just ISO set at 400. You might have to do lightening effects after, but no harm no foul - Allan #403456

Damian P. Gadal March 01, 2004

Wonderful! #403460

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 01, 2004

Thanks Murry, Mary, Allan and Damian. My camera goes to 800 ISO. Do you think that would do it? I'm going to try it next time. I'll try both. You'll see my shark I did get next Monday so you can see what I mean. I'll also attach one that didn't work very well. #403506
