Oh no,I saw this pic of the Ibis and thought I was having a nightmare! Also in WA like you Barbara,and since things have gone dry in many suburban lakes,I have had recently,up to four of these guys visiting me a few times a day.Bang on the roof and air-con,very early in the morning(no regards for daylight saving!)...the big birds have landed.But of course like the Magies,and Magpie Larks,Butcher Birds,Wattle birds,Honeyeaters,Ravens and of course the doves,these fellows too get a bite on their way to the Swan River from the dried lakes.Congrats on your finalist pic Barbara,it is a wonderful shot of the Ibis,and good luck in the next round. #3758413
