Umbreallas in the Skyline with a Telephoto Lens 2

Uploaded: November 21, 2006 17:15:22

Description

November 21, 2006
RAW, ISO 100, Lens 18-200 mm at 100 with a polarizing filter attached, Manual Mode, Pattern Metering with +0.3, white balance set off grey card, exposure set at f/20 for 1/25 seconds off a tripod.
While going thorough downtown Houston today, I saw that workers were moving the equipment in front of the Umbrealla House. I stopped, and after some pleading with a truck driver, I climbed-up on the crane that he was moving, set-up my tripod and starting shooting away. As you can see, this shot is more level with the second floor umbreallas, consequently, the compression effect of the telephoto lens is very evident. This is the shot that I hoped to take earlier and is the one that fits what I think the photo should be.

Exif: FNumber: 36, ExposureBiasValue: 67/100, ExposureTime: 0.125, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 100, WhiteBalance: manual white balance
