RAW, ISO 100, Lens 18-200 mm at 200, Manual Mode, Pattern Metering with +0.3, white balance set off grey card, exposure set at f/25 for 1.3 seconds off a tripod.
This building at Rice University is part of the main quad. This walkway is probably 150 to 200 feet, yet the telephoto lens compressed the distances so that it appears much closer. The use of the telephoto lens forced me to take the picture in landscape orientation, rather than portrait, since I wanted both the columns and the open end of the walkway in the photograph. I felt that these two elements (plus the lights) are the elements that demonstrate the telephoto lens' compression effect on the overall scene.

Exif: FNumber: 25, ExposureBiasValue: 33/100, ExposureTime: 1.3, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 100, WhiteBalance: manual white balance
