Description

I took the photos on a seemless white paper then added them one by one to the letters. I wanted to practice this because I think it will be a great thing to offer grads.

Wow, 11 responces before I even had my first cup of coffee, I am overwhelmed! Thank you for every ones nice comments! Sams club is now offering posters 12.5 x35 for only 11.95! Or 12.5 x18 for 6.95. Last year I wanted to do something like this for graduate posters, but the proffesional lab I use costs almost $100.00 to have a poster size done. Now I will be able to offer this for a reasonable price. #390589

THIS IS SO COOL, MARGARET!!! Brilliant idea and execution!!!!! What did you use for the letters, may I ask? And what were you using for things for her to pose on, on the seamless white background? Whatever, it was, the result is great!!!!!! Hats off! #425862

Well, how funny...I was just thinking about you today. A women from church asked me to go to the humane society and vote for her dog. They were having a photo contest. A week later I finally got around to it and it was too late. But the grand prize was a trip on a cruise for 4! If it hadn't been too late to vote, I would have let you know about it. OK, this photo....
I first chose a font I wanted to work with and then printed her name out. Then I figured out certain poses that I wanted to work with and shot them. I used a pillar for the sliding shot and just showed her how I wanted her to pose and explained to her what it would look like when we were done. Afterwards, I had the CD made and then just added the photos to the font in PS. The photo shoot took about 10 minutes and adding them to the letters took about an hour and a half to 2 hours. Next time it would go much faster but I am still learning. #425882

Hi Peggy! I love this! I want to try and do this for Jordyn but don't even know where to start. My first problem, of course, no studio. My one question for you tho is when you blew this up didn't you have a problem with the font looking pixelated? I haven't tried anything yet bcuz I'm afraid I will be terribly disappointed that it won't turn out anywhere near as awesome as this one. Wish me luck! How are you doing btw? Ready for summer? Take care and thanks for the neverending inspiration :) #555239
