The Web, and I don't mean the Internet Description: China Camp State Park, San Rafael, CA. 11/04/2006 @ 4:06 PM Canon EOS 20D w/ Canon 24~70mm, f/2.8, L ISO 100, f/2.8, 1/320, 60mm AV Mode, Manual Focus, Hand HeldWhile exiting one of the buildings at China Camp this spider web caught my eye. As I looked at it with the side lighting from the sun I noticed that is also had a slight rainbow in it, and thought that was unusual, so I took a couple of shots of it.
This also illustrates the affect of Depth Of Field where the focal plane is different than the image plan. You will notice that the top right portion of the web starts to fall out of focus (shallow DOF), and since it was not that important to the Web or the rainbow effect on the web which is the real subject; the strands are not that important, but still ties it down (pun intended).
Still thinking about the picture of the Wall.
