I love this, Penny...I might have been tempted to crop out the blinds...still a great shot! #97448

Good suggestion, by Ellen! But I love this shot, the lighting is terrific...love the colors and that little pink nose....!!!!! #407822

Thanks for your comments. I did think about cropping the blinds out, in fact I tried it and found that the blinds added depth to the picture and helped to balance it out a little so I stuck with the original composition. #407969

I have a photo where the same thing happened to me...the shot needed slight rotation, and the blinds were missing on part of the pic due to the angle I shot at...what I did was rotate the pic, then manually cloned in the blinds..it wasn't perfect, but it was a bit more balanced without giving them up. Ultimately, though, we each have to make our own decisions about what we think works best for us. If you have time, in my gallery, my troublesome pic is called "Uptown Cat," - maybe you can see what I'm talking about, if you're interested. #408102

Love this!! So Typical Cat, and the lighting on that white patch of fur is exquisite. (The blinds don't detract at all, IMHO). Congrats on this wonderful finalist! #432988
