This is a stunning photo of gorgeous color with the main subject (the snaps) framed by the petunias left and right. The snaps are further emphasized with the out-of-focus background, adding to depth. The tilt of the snaps shows action and the position just to the right of center keeps away from a too-static balance. The negative space at the top of the snaps gives the right amount of tension without feeling either crowded or too open. Texture stands out particularly on the buds near the top of the stem, being in perfect focus. The progressive rhythm up the stem adds to the mood of contentment. There is no wasted space and I don’t see anything I would do to improve this photo. The imagination feels like the petunias go on forever…..
