Week 3 - Challenge 5

Description

I've tried to use the branches from the surrounding trees in this image to frame the gate and the field beyond. It was a challenge to take the photo with an exposure I was happy with so this is actually a result of two separate shots, taken on a tripod. The first shot I exposed for the ground with the following settings: 1/250s at f/11; Manual mode; iso 200 @35mm. Flash was used with a plastic diffuser cap on it, at 1/32 power to give a little more light in the ground. The second image to capture the sky, was taken using the following settings: 1/250s at f/20; manual mode; iso 200 @35mm (no flash used). The two images were then combined in photoshop. Photograph was taken in Winchmore Hill, Buckinghamshire.
