Nice image from the caped super Allan! So is this a pan or did you create the motion dffect on the computer? It's very effective!! #370282

Allan L. Whitehead February 10, 2004

Thanx Janet, Lori, Charlene, and Murry for the great comments. I can't tell a lie. I saw this train, near a crossing, waiting for another train to pass and took about 4-5 shots of it from about 50' away. Then I simulated motion using J. Zuckerman's suggested techniques from my course.
A recent article in the Toronto Star stated that some USA judges aren't allowing pix in cases any more because of Digital Photography. I wonder why? - Allan #370311

Carol Brill February 10, 2004

Very effectively composed and presented, Allan, and I like how that green just pops out from all the B&W! #371004

Allan L. Whitehead February 10, 2004

Thanx Colleen and Carol. Believe it or not Carol, there is some color in the rest of the shot but the motion blurs and fades it. Other than the blur there was no additional PS effects applied to this shot at all. Thanx again for your comments (which I always appreciate) and support - Allan #371016
