Deb, since I'm still experimenting with the technique, I'm not sure. However, here are some observations. The image becomes dramatically darker, so I have been adjusting mine in levels at the end of the process. It seems well suited to landscapes, but as you can see in my gallery I also tried it on a people shot. Generally, I think it's effective on images where a "feel" is the main goal. Does that make any sense? #3374332
