Thanks so much, Bill and Edwin! In the Bellevue Botanical Garden (WA) when I was shooting yesterday there are so many different dahlias so I had a hard time to choose the one I want to shoot first ;-). It’s a pleasure to know you like this one! Thanks once again!

Excellent work...I know I'm supposed to be able to have a foreground stand out from a blurred background with "macro" but I don't think I'm setting something correctly...it just doesn't seem to work..

I have a Canon EOS Rebel G QD
usually 5.6 aperture, 125 shutter speed, and have recently been using 200 speed film and manually resetting ISO to 100.
It is a 35 mm. I think 5.6 is the highest aperture. #4219549
