Very different. I love the colors here. Is it actually ballet slippers or a painting of them? Looks so much like a painting. #85307Geoffrey T. Wallace January 06, 2004
Hi Judy: Yes, they are real ballet slippers. This is a ballet practice bar with several pairs of worn out/old ballet slippers hanging on it. I combined the original photo with a scanned in piece of paper and then used photoshop to punch up the colors. #320280Joy Carlsen March 01, 2004
It is very interesting -do you have a shot without the manipulation? I would like to see that too for comparison. The only thing I would change is maybe increase the contrast a bit...but that is just personal preferance. It has great composition -great idea!Geoffrey T. Wallace March 02, 2004
Hi Joy. Here is the original image without any manipulation. As you can see, it's kind of a drab image and there are trees visible in the background. I appreciate your comments - Geoff #405310Geoffrey T. Wallace March 02, 2004
