Description

On a flight from Oakland to Kansas City, I looked out from my window seat and noticed this simple composition of the wing transecting the blue sky above and white cloud cover below.

Nice capture, Janelle. Don't you just love it when great comps come out of nowhere? This is really nice. I didn't know you could get a clear shot through an airplane window. My window is always foggy and scratched. Maybe I'll ask for a good window next flight. ;o) #5163

I really like this composition, Janelle. It's simple, yes, but very elegant. The colours are great, too. #7377

Nice lines, Janelle. Great colors! I am terrified when looking out there and seeing those flexible wings move the way they do!
Good luck! #7379

This is terrific! What a super perspective! #7381

Wow - Thank you so much Piper, Gerda, Dolores and June Marie! I really appreciate all your encouraging comments on this image, which just sort of fell into my lap (properly seat-belted, of course) when I happened to look out the window and grab it. I lucked out by being on the side of the plane without much window reflection for that time of day, plus leaving from Oakland, the plane's origin, thus having clean windows! #7410
