Description

Lower Antelope Canyon is by far my favorite slot canyon. The sunlight reflected by the walls around midday is incredible to experience! For this shot I used a 24mm wide-angle, and exposed for the highlights. Exposure with slide film is very difficult in this location, so you need to be extremely careful. With digital it should be a little more forgiving.

Great colors and detail. Don't know how I missed this the first time. One look and I felt this had to be film. I prefer film for the canyons over digital. The colors just seem to be richer when the light can soak into the film. Well, you get the idea. Very nice. #579191

Hi Allan,

Yes, I did shoot this one on Fujichrome Velvia. I do agree that the color rendition on film sometimes seems much richer than digital. Thanks. #3751989
