Island in the Mist
Description: F22 at 1/2 sec on Velvia using a 200mm lens 0.3ND soft grad just to hold some detail in background hills.
Loch Droma on the Ullapool to Garve road is always a great stop off point. At dawn the valley often fills with mist and hangs wraith like over the water. On this occasion it surpassed itself and blew away all my expectations. The islands draped in Autumn gold just barely showing through, while the background hills floating surreally above.
