The Light in the Lily Description: 1/10th second @ f-16, spot metered and custom white balance, iso 160Uncropped, and unedited. I was amazed to find myself going back to the original in-camera shot again and again as I went thru my post processing motions only to find that it struck me the best. I don't know when the last time was I posted a photo like that. I settled on removing some fine noise and sharpening it a bit in Neat Image, other than that this is an original shot. And if I must say so, arguably my favorite flower shot to date. Sorry if I sound self endulgent, just proud of this one! The late sunlight was hitting this flower from the side and I just loved the way it looked in camera, the erie orange glow of energy that seemed to penetrate thru and dominate the scene. So I took several shots and liked this one the best. Hope you like it too. Carl Uploaded on 5/29/2006 10:29:57 PM
