Description

Intimate Angeles Portfolio
Cedar and Ponderosa
Buckhorn, Angeles National Forest, California
April 2006

Despite the view from the foothills, the Forest is not simply chaparral. At Buckhorn one finds pines, incense cedar, firs, and even some redwoods.

Canon EOS 20D, EF 70-300mm DO IS @ 230mm + PL; Av-0.5, f/11, 1/15 @ ISO 100; tripod.
Captured RAW; PS CS2: cropped to eliminate distracting third tree, curved to reduce highlights on ponderosa.
